Zine Making Diet

I totally forgot how crappy your diet becomes when you're working on a project and nearing completion. I'm living on frozen pizzas, pepsi and NEWS FLASH I've taken up drinking hot coffee!! Why was I scared of burning my tongue for these past 29 years??? It's delicious.. OK OK it's not totally coffee yet. I've worked my way up from hot chocolate to mocha.. Almost there! Big boy league!!

Bad Teeth Character Style Comparison

I have been laying out all of the old comic strips for the new book and it's pretty cool to see slight changes in character styles from page to page. Here is an extreme example below, showing the difference in artwork over a span of 5 or 6 years.

Believe it or not, I try to keep the Bad Teeth characters 'on model' however I am also constantly tweaking things like the size of eyes and sesame seeds, the direction of hair and stitches on clothing. It will be a weird experience to read all of these comics strips in one large grouping together!

Draw Something Doodles

Draw Something kind of died down for a few weeks there but it looks like people are getting back into it after last week's update! Thankfully they have added a bunch new words and even a category option with bonus coins!! I'm trying to play everyday, it's really good practice and exercise for drawing different things that you wouldn't normally draw.. I Used To Skate Once #8 - Skateboard Art Show

The Outpost (Brisbane) put on their annual skateboard art show "IUTSO" this past Thursday 21st June and I was lucky enough to be invited to participate and have a board in the exhibit. The show will be hung in The Outpost's store over the next few weeks, some boards are still available to be purchased, so don't miss out on your chance to have a great piece of local art for your wall! Where Are The New Comics??

I'm sure you have noticed a lack of new material on this blog for the past few weeks.. Don't worry, the weekly comic strips will be returning soon!! Right now I am working on a big 200 page art book, so I am saving some new comics to release through that project.

The book should be out in August, and was made possible through the crowdfunding website Pozible.. Get it?! Anyway I will be posting updates here up until that point.. a couple of sneak peeks here and there. Thank you so much to everybody that contributed to the Pozible campaign!
